Junior Fire Fighter Program

Extinguishing the fire

What the Junior Program is.....

The junior program gives the opportunity to understand and learn about firefighting. It gives you the ability to go to monthly meetings, training, and fire calls. During these times you have hands-on opportunities to learn and practice needed skills. In addition to monthly training, there is also special training that goes over specific skills of firefighting. By participating in the junior program it gives you a headstart to becoming a certified firefighter. You take certification classes such a Firefighter 1 and 2 that are needed to become an actual firefighter.

Overall this program is an amazing opportunity to get involved with your community. In addition, it is perfect to get your feet wet in firefighting and see if this is something you'd like to pursue.
