There is an average of 10-fire calls per month.
All new members are expected to complete additional weekend seminars for State Certifications within their first years on the department.
If you are interested in applying you can download an application and drop it off at the Winthrop Town Hall. If you are not sure and would like to set up a meeting call the station and leave you name and number and a tour will be arranged for you!
You must be at least 18 years old with a valid Maine drivers license to apply. All new applicants must complete a medical screening by the Town of Winthrop's Occupational Health Services before being taken on as a probationary member.
