Town Council workshop meeting

During this workshop meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, the Council will discuss: 

• Improving the audio/visual system for broadcasting and recording Town Council and Planning Board meetings.
• The membership of a citizens committee that will review the Town's repealed Mooring Ordinance and make recommendations. 
• A draft of a proposed ordinance to regulate houseboats on Winthrop's lakes. 
• What it hopes to achieve with a new ordinance regulating quarries and gravel pits. 
• Hiring a full-time planner to assist the Planning Board and to draft zoning ordinances. 

The meeting will be conducted at the Town Office, 17 Highland Ave., and is open to the public. It may also be watched live on Zoom. The Zoom link, along with hot links to background materials, can be found on the attached agenda.
