Public Hearing Notice - 2024 Comprehensive Plan

The Winthrop Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Winthrop Town Office (All Purpose Room), 17 Highland Ave. and via Zoom (link posted here) to consider the adoption of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan serves as a 10-year roadmap for the community, especially in regards to future land use and housing. Comprehensive Plans carry no regulatory authority. Instead, the documents are meant to be aspirational of where a community envisions itself being a decade after the plan's adoption.

As part of the adoption process, the council will take public input regarding the proposed plan, a full copy of which is posted here and is also attached below. A printed version is available for public inspection at the Town Clerk's Office, 17 Highland Ave.
