Council to consider proposal to pave road near athletic complex

The Town Council will consider a proposal to pave Town Hall Lane in conjunction with the construction of the athletic complex behind Winthrop Grade School, using surplus funds from the 2023 budget, when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21. The meeting will be at the Town Office, 17 Highland Ave., and is open to the public. Citizens may also participate via Zoom; the Zoom link is included in the agenda, which is attached below. 

Also during the meeting, the Council will hear a presentation from Angel Wings, Inc., which owns and operates two residential facilities in Winthrop for people recovering from substance abuse.
