Concerts at Norcross Point return for 14th season
The summer Concerts at Norcross Point are returning in July and August for a 14th season. All of this year's performers have a special link to Winthrop, whether it be they graduated from Winthrop High School, live or lived in Winthrop, or are a family member of a Winthrop resident. It's the Winthropian Summer!
As always these concerts are free of charge, thanks to the Town of Winthrop and sponsors Kennebec Savings Bank and Winthrop Area Federal Credit Union.
All of the concerts will be from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on Sundays through August at Norcross Point. Bring your family, anchor your boat offshore, have a picnic, toss a Frisbee, or dance the day away under the sun! We look forward to seeing all of our old friends and meeting new ones! C'mon, Winthropians! Let's have some fun! Here's this summer's lineup:
- July 9: LQH with Evan Haines
- July 16: The High Spirits, with Anna Toothaker (now Patterson)
- July 23: Lynn Deeves, Trina Hamlin and Colleen Sexton
- July 30: Black Orange, with Rob Carlton, and special guest opener the Bailey Library Ukulele Group
- Aug. 6: The Calypso Soldiers
- Aug. 13: Stan Davis
- Aug. 20: Sapphire Lane
- Aug. 27: Keiyana, featuring Norwood Pearson on guitar
