Boat, Motor & Trailer for sale by sealed bid

The Town of Winthrop is offering for sale by bid, one aluminum boat and boat trailer as is:

2000 Princecraft Starfish 16’ open aluminum boat with Johnson 25 hp outboard motor & 2000 Load Rite single axle boat trailer (previously used by the Winthrop Fire Department).

The boat, motor and trailer are available immediately upon payment. Bids will be publicly opened on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Winthrop Town Office. The minimum bid price is $2,000. The successful bidder must take possession and move the boat/trailer within 7 days of bid opening unless suitable arrangements are made. The boat/trailer may be viewed at the Winthrop Transfer Station, during regular hours, between Saturday, April 13, 2024 through Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Bids must be in a sealed envelope marked "2000 Princecraft Boat Bid” and hand-delivered to the Town Office or mailed to Town of Winthrop, Attn: Deborah Nichols, 17 Highland Ave, Winthrop ME 04364.  All bids must be received no later than Tuesday, May 14,  2024, at 3:00 pm. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to negotiate in the best interests of the Town. The boat/motor and trailer is sold as/is, with no warranties, expressed or implied.
