The Maranacook Lake Association hosts its annual meeting from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the Weathervane Restaurant & Lounge in Readfield. The public is invited.
Registration for the event will be from 8 a.m.-8:30 a.m. followed by a business meeting and presentation. Wendy Dennis of the Cobbossee Watershed District will speak about invasive plants, lake water clarity, lake level management and erosion control.
