Election Day

Polls will be open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, in a special election to fill an unexpired term on the Town Council. Voting will conducted at the Town Office, 17 Highland Ave. 

Because the town's clerks will be staffing the polls, the Town Clerk's office will be closed Tuesday.

Five candidates are on the ballot; a sixth is running as a write-in candidate. Winthrop residents who are not registered to vote may register and cast a ballot on Election Day. A driver's license or bill with the voter's name and physical address may be used as proof of residency.

Absentee ballots must be returned to the Town Office no later than 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13. They can be delivered to the secure ballot dropbox outside the front door anytime of day or to the Town Clerk's office during business hours.
