Absentee ballots available for Nov. 7 election

Absentee ballots for the Nov. 7 election are now available at the Town Office, 17 Highland Ave. The election will feature two ballots -- one for state referendums, the other for municipal elections for Town Council, the Bailey Library Board of Trustees, and the Winthrop Public Schools Board of Education. The ballots are posted at winthropmaine.org/voting. They are also attached below.

Ballots will be available through Nov. 2. Winthrop residents may also register to vote when picking up a ballot. The Town Office is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Absentee ballots must be returned, with the envelopes signed, to the Town Office no later than 8 p.m. Nov. 7. A secured ballot dropbox is available 24/7 outside the front door of the Town Office.
