Town Council budget workshop

The Winthrop Town Council will conduct the first of a series of budget workshops at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the Town Office, 17 Highland Ave. The first workshop will focus on capital improvements -- i.e. large purchases of equipment, facility needs, infrastructure improvements -- and projected revenues for fiscal year 2025, which begins July 1. Winthrop Public Schools Superintendent Jim Hodgkin will also speak about the schools' proposed budget. 

As are all Town Council meetings, the budget workshop is open to the public. Citizens may also participate remotely; a Zoom link is included at the top of the agenda, which is posted below. The agenda includes hot links to background materials.
