The Winthrop Fire Department is committed to quickly and safely assisting the community with a variety of services including fire prevention and education, burning permits and safe burning guidelines, commercial building emergency response preplanning, group fire extinguisher training, and emergency fire suppression and rescue services.
Since we are an all volunteer department, we are continually looking for individuals who are considering serving their community by volunteering for a challenging but rewarding career with us.
