Norcross Point and Public Beach Redevelopment
Norcross Point and public beach serve a variety of community needs and interests associated with water access to Maranacook Lake, civic gathering space, and passive outdoor recreation. Several infrastructure assets at these facilities have been in place since the 1970’s and need upgrade, repair, replacement or removal. The Town is working with Baker Design Consultants on a Redevelopment Plan that identifies opportunities for initial phase, and future phase improvements. The Town will seek Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) in 2021 to support final design, permitting and construction of the initial phase improvement items.
