The Town of Winthrop is excited to unveil our new citizen-centric website. The new website, with the same address, winthropmaine.org, reflects the evolving needs of the community. The Town partnered with the Bailey Library using CivicPlus to build a more mobile-friendly platform with a streamlined menu of options that makes searching for information simple and intuitive. The Town worked with strategic marketing and design professional Richard Fortin at the Bailey Library to support the design of the website and a refreshed Town brand identity. The Town also appointed a steering committee of local residents who worked with central Maine artist Arlene Kelley to develop a logo that identifies Winthrop’s unique position and assets and community ethos. During the development process, Mr. Fortin engaged many citizens for input on what was important to residents and businesses in a new website, and will continue to accept feedback on the new website: email@example.com.
